fa پیش‌بینی دبی جریان با استفاده از یادگیری ماشین (مطالعه موردی: حوضه قره‌سو میانی) River Flow Prediction Using Machine Learning: A Case Study of the Middle Qareh-Sou Basin تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research رودخانه قره‌سو از منابع اصلی تأمین آب کشاورزی در استان اردبیل است. پژوهش حاضر باهدف بررسی پنج مدل یادگیری ماشین شامل جنگل تصادفی (RF)، نزدیک‌ترین همسایه (KNN)، رگرسیون خطی (LR)، تقویت گرادیان (GBoosting) و شبکه عصبی مصنوع (ANN) برای پیش‌بینی دبی رودخانه در دو ایستگاه سامیان 1999-2018 و ارباب کندی 1976-2018 در مقیاس روزانه و در حوضه پایاب قره‌سو انجام گرفت. در این پژوهش از 17 ویژگی هیدرو اقلیمی به‌عنوان ورودی مدل‌ها و دبی روزانه به‌عنوان خروجی در نظر گرفته شد. جهت ارزیابی عملکرد مدل‌ها از پارامترهای ارزیابی آماری شامل ضریب تعیین (R2)، میانگین قدرمطلق (MAE) و ریشه میانگین مربعات خطا (RMSE) مورداستفاده قرار گرفت هم‌چنین از پارامترهای بازه احتمال پیش‌بینی (PICP)، میانگین نرمال شده بازه پیش‌بینی (PINAW) و میانگین بازه (MPIW) برای عدم قطعیت مدل‌ها ملاک قرار داده شد. نتایج نشان داد برای ایستگاه سامیان مدل GBoosting مقدار R2 برابر با 853/0 و مقدار RMSE  برابر با 651/0 بوده است بهترین نتایج را نسبت به سایر مدل‌ها ارائه داده است. در مقابل KNN ضعیف‌ترین عملکرد را داشته است. به‌گونه‌ای که مقدار R2 و RMSE به‌ترتیب برابر با 438/0، 273/1 و شاخص‌های عدم قطعیت نشان داد مدل GBoosting با ایجاد MPIW با مقدار 7577/1 و PINAW با مقدار 130/0 نسبت به بقیه مدل‌ها با ایجاد بازه باریک‌تر به هدف 95/0 پیش‌بینی دست یابد. در مقابل KNN علی‌رغم رسیدن به بازه 95/0 پیش‌بینی، مقدار MPIW و PINAW به‌ترتیب 841/3 و 28454/0 بوده است. در ایستگاه ارباب کندی جنگل تصادفی مقدار  R2برابر 793/0 و RMSE برابر 090/1 بهترین عملکرد و KNN با مقدار R2  برابر 663/0 وRMSE  این مدل 386/1 بوده که ضعیف‌ترین عملکرد را داشته است. هم‌چنین شاخص‌های عدم قطعیت تأییدکننده این موضوع است کهRF  تقریبا 940/0 را در بازه پیش‌بینی قرار دهد هم‌چنین مقدار PINAW برابر با 065/0 و MPIW 575/1 است. در مقابلKNN  توانست 93/0 را در بازه پیش‌بینی قرار دهد مقدار به‌دست‌آ مده برای شاخص PINAW برابر 103/0 و 0488/2 برای MPIW  تأییدکننده این موضوع است که KNN در این ایستگاه ضعیف‌ترین عملکرد را داشته است. در پایان پیشنهاد می‌شود برای پیش‌بینی بهتر از داده‌های ساعتی هیدرو اقلیمی اعم از دبی، دما، بارش و رطوبت استفاده شود. The <a name="_Hlk240583516">Qareh-Sou </a>River is one of the most important rivers in agricultural water supply in Ardabil Province. The present study was conducted to evaluate five machine learning models, namely Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Linear Regression (LR), Gradient Boosting (GBoosting), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN), for daily streamflow prediction at two stations, Samian (1999–2018) and Arbāb-Kandi (1976–2018), located in the lower basin of Qareh-Sou River. In this research, 17 hydro-climatic features were used as model inputs, and daily discharge was considered as the output.To assess model performance, statistical evaluation parameters including the coefficient of determination (R²), mean absolute error (MAE), and root mean square error (RMSE) were employed. Furthermore, uncertainty analysis was conducted using the prediction interval coverage probability (PICP), normalized mean prediction interval width (PINAW), and mean prediction interval width (MPIW). results for the Samian station indicated that the GBoosting model, with R² = 0.8530 and RMSE = 0.651, provided the best performance among all models, while KNN exhibited the weakest performance, with R² = 0.4380 and RMSE = 1.273. Uncertainty indices also revealed that GBoosting, with MPIW = 1.7577 and PINAW = 0.13020, produced a narrower prediction interval and achieved the 95% coverage target. In contrast, KNN, despite achieving 95% coverage, yielded MPIW = 3.8413 and PINAW = 0.28454, indicating a wider interval and poorer performance.At the Arbāb-Kandi station, Random Forest outperformed the other models with R² = 0.7930 and RMSE = 1.0906, whereas KNN again showed the weakest performance, with R² = 0.6663 and RMSE = 1.386. Uncertainty indices confirmed that RF placed approximately 94% of the data within the prediction interval, with PINAW = 0.06533 and MPIW = 1.575. In comparison, KNN covered 93% of the data, with PINAW = 0.10325 and MPIW = 2.0488, further confirming its inferior performance at this station.Overall, tree-based models (GBoosting and RF) demonstrated superior accuracy compared to KNN at both stations.
